Scholarships
Goal of the Scholarship Program:
Bankers Trust Company is committed to diversity. Our goal in sponsoring 5 scholarships for minority women to the Women’s leadership workshop is to encourage participation of minority women in the workshop.
Scholarship:
Each scholarship provides all costs associated with the workshop.
Marketing of the scholarship:
The marketing committee of the Women’s Leadership has agreed to post information about the scholarships on the web site for the Leadership Conference. Information about the scholarships will be sent to all committee members who will send this information to members of their sphere of influence. Bankers Trust will also explore other ways of getting out information regarding the scholarships.
Criteria for Selection:
1. Must be of minority ethnic background i.e. Latino, African American, Vietnamese, and Indian etc.
2. Must live in the Corridor.
3. Must have shown outstanding leadership in their respective field, whether this be in industry, sales, education, non-profit organization or other.
4. Must be highly motivated to attend the conference and share information with others.
Selection Committee:
Bankers Trust will assume responsibility for reviewing candidates.
