Continuing Education Credit

The University of Iowa is an approved provider of General CEUs and will award .35 CEUs (3.5 contact hours) for attendance at the pre-conference Workshops and 1.35 CEUs (13.5 contact hours) for fulltime Conference attendance.

The Continuing Education Unit is a measurement used throughout the United States by educational institutions to record participation in non-academic credit education programs. One CEU is awarded for each 10 hours of participation in an organized continuing education experience.

Many licensing boards will accept general CEU awards towards professional licensure and professional development. You should confirm with your specific governing board if General CEUs can be applied toward your discipline.

There is a $10 CEU processing fee. If you are interested please mark your registration form and include your $10 payment with your registration fee.
