History
The inaugural Choosing to Lead conference in April 2007 was a great success, far surpassing original attendance expectations of 300 with more than 400 women in attendance and hundreds on a waiting list.
In April 2008, the Conference committee followed up the success of 2007 with a luncheon, Choosing to Lead: Meeting Challenges with Grace and Humor, with keynote speaker Mary LoVerde. Again, attendance records were broken with more than 700 women turning out for this event.
The Choosing to Lead series is dedicated to informing, inspiring, and challenging professional women, providing opportunities to explore the skills and knowledge necessary to choose, to connect, to take risks and to lead everyday. See a listing of previous Conference and Luncheon speakers here.
Choosing to Lead programs are defined by influential women leaders in Iowa's Technology Corridor.
