2008 Luncheon
Two years is too long to wait to bring together the vibrant and inspirational group of women who attended the inaugural Choosing to Lead conference in April 2007.
Presenting the "Choosing to Lead: Meeting Challenges with Grace and Humor
Iowa Women's Leadership Luncheon 2008"
Designed to take less time, but with the same impact, the luncheon is designed to refresh the ideas and lessons of the 2007 conference, while whetting your appetite for the full size conference scheduled for 2009. Life balance expert Mary LoVerde will pack into one luncheon speech inspiration, motivation and knowledge to help the professional woman master the tight rope wire so many of us walk each day.
Her presentation, "I Used to Have a Handle on Life but It Broke," will feature innovative strategies for keeping life in balance. Most successful women feel like the only way to manage the chaos is to take control, but if only we could get a handle on life! No wonder we have overwhelming to-do lists that leave us feeling exhausted and powerless. In this heartwarming and funny program attendees will learn straightforward, innovative techniques for keeping balance no matter what life throws your way.
In addition, she will lend extra expertise in a workshop session after lunch to give women tools to implement balance in their lives. Come for lunch, stay for important lessons on April 24, 2008!
